Liquid Collectors
Liquid collectors are critical internal components in packed towers, trayed columns, and other mass/heat transfer equipment, designed to efficiently capture and redirect liquid streams between process stages.
Their primary function is to uniformly collect liquid exiting a packed bed or tray, minimize entrainment, and ensure consistent liquid distribution to downstream components such as redistributors, feed lines, or lower process stages.

CHIMNEY TRAY LIQUID COLLECTOR
- Chimney collector trays proposed for partial or full liquid removal at a specific point in the column, for mixing feed with reluxed liquid, and for vapor distribution
- Risers can be round, wide/narrow rectangular
- Design options: downcomers, downpipes, and sumps for liquid passage
- Generally available for all diameter, ideally for applying in the large column with high liquid loads
- Available in metal and thermoplastic material
