Bubble Cap Tray
Bubble Cap Tray. Rising vapor passes through risers into bubble cap which then forces vapor downward, and the vapor later bubbles out through slots into liquid on the tray.
- The liquid seal created contributes to tight leakage in low liquid / vapor rates in comparison to sieve or valve tray, leading to wide operating range. Also , leakage might be minimized as bubble cap trays are seal welded or gasketed .
- Moreover, the high turn-down ratio contributes to wide applications for low liquid loads.
